FAMILY harmony isn’t always easy to maintain, but with the latest in ‘smart’ home technology you can at least ensure everyone is in tune when it comes to their choice of music.
A high tech multi-room audio system is fitted as standard in all 19 executive homes at Glenrose Developments’ Rydale Park in Ryhope, Sunderland.
The four and five-bedroom homes are fitted with a discreet in-ceiling speaker and sensor system which picks up on wireless remote controllers and wall-mounted control panels which connect to the music system, radio and iPod docking station stored in a discreet cupboard.
The technology, from Gateshead-based supplier E-Life, allows every member of the family to choose their own music, or you can distribute the same sound through as many rooms as you choose. Read the rest of this entry »
